Inexplicable
In an attempt to drag out my lunch hour I have been working my way through the '50 Greatest Cartoons' at CityRag and this one is completely mystifying. I know that all Betty Boop cartoons follow a logic that went extinct about 60 years ago but this is extra weird.

It is orchestrated by Cab Calloway and even features a young Mr. Calloway and his orchestra in the beginning. Later he is represented as an animated ghostly walrus.
The wikipedia entry on Betty is kind of interesting. I think that tomorrow I will click on the link for Rotoscope. Right now I need to go back to work.
